Time Bank founder Edgar Cahn and board member Josefina Mata describe the pilot test of a new approach to supporting people with chronic health conditions, disabilities or other challenges of aging. Combining elements of cooperative assistance and resource pooling, CareShares offer an example of adapting the classic Time Banking model to new economic conditions.
Workshop 30 An Evaluation Primer: How to Set up Easy to Use Systems to Monitor and Improve Your Time Bank

Workshop 35 Bridges Between Time Banking & Formal Education
Whether the school is K-12, a college or university, Time Banking can provide a two-way street for involvement. Field placements and internships can take students beyond the one-time volunteer experience into true service learning. Community service projects can evolve into longer-term relationships. Learn how.
